I have about 1800 yards of self striping yarn #3/DK weight.
Any suggestions for best stitches/combo for self striping yarn?
It’s going to be a toddler blanket.

In case I miss your response, I’m going to toss out a good one for stripes and not variegated , Look up Lark’s foot stitch…I’m really liking this one and it’s very simple to read if you put it down and pick it up later

I do think a single stitch pattern is best with self striping, however the stitch you choose is a personal preference… I tend to love the xdc and sc alternating rows (as you may know hehe)… But chevron, griddle, and V-stitch are all relatively simple with a nice look…

I agree with @OBabyNMore single stitch patterns look lovely with self striping! You really wanna show off that gorgeous color change!
