Hi guys! My cousin is having a baby, and I want to crochet something for the baby. Someone else made her a quilt that is blue and brown, so I was thinking of something with one or both of those colors? I don’t really know what to make for a baby, so if you have any patterns or anything please let me know!

maybe a snuggler?
Congrats to your family! I would say probably a snuggle or baby blanket so then they don’t grow out of a hat or booties.
@Craftsrme67 has amazing snugglers to make for a baby and all the patterns are free
And they have a Dino/dragon, as well as a peacock, and duck snugglers in testing too, so you can keep an eye out for those too, I love her snugglers, I’ve made the fox twice and I made the unicorn as a gift for a family friends baby girl
snuggies/loveys, burp/wash rags are very helpful if you have cotton yarn, and rattlers!! i made a plushie mushroom rattler for a family member who had a baby since her theme was woodsy, and she loved it so much i ended up making more for some of her friends 
edit to add teething rings! if you have wood rings they make great teethers :D
Unicorn is in testing and so is a flamingo. An bonus horse pattern also (not in testing). All are releasing wednesday. If there is a specific animal anyone is looking for, I probably have it lol!
Like everyone else is saying, I think a snuggler would be cute! I remember my brother had a blue bunny snuggler when he was a baby, and he loved it.
I keep forgetting the unicorn is still finishing up testing because it is in my view every day cause I have a gift for each kid and I have one I still need to finish before I give them the gifts so it’s in the living room with the other kid’s gift and the half finished gift
