Hi! I’m in the process of making my first tapestry and I was wondering how you would attach a felt backing? Or would you use something else for your backing besides felt? Love to hear what others do/use!! I know sometimes people don’t cover the back but I did not bother making it look nice so I will be covering it lol. Thanks!!

I’ve never made tapestry, but I would take nuetral colored sewing thread that blended in with the other colors and then just whip stitch around the outside. Hot glue would also work, but wouldn’t be as permanent.

Maybe fabric glue?

I wasn’t sure if it would soak through the felt? but I can definitely make a small scrap square to try, thanks!
