Thanks! I’m glad I could still give good feedback  I originally was gonna gift it to my cousin’s child but decided my grandpa would want me to keep it. Maybe I will make another one sometime.

My tasks for the day are to crochet 15 hearts and start on a birthday gift for my sister

These aren’t really tasks for today or this week but plans to progress on my long term WIPs. After the 3 Afghans are finished all projects started with my right arm will hopefully be finished. I plan to start all new projects with my left.

2024 plans to progress on UFOs:

  • Spouse’s Queen Casablanca Afghan started in 2019 which I’ve only finished about half a repeat tall on will become a couch throw with one repeat. Border or fringe undecided at this time. A more manageable blanket will be decided when I’m ready to make another for him.
  • Fiesta CAL 2019 (Afghan) which was for me is now going to a friend. Also started in 2019. I’ve already finished all of the flower tiles. I need 4-6 square tiles, 10 large triangles, 4 small triangles, to join and the border. I will probably need to order yarn for the border.
  • I attempted to try to make for another friend in 2020 a cabled cosplay dress from a knit photo on her request. I think she’d appreciate a cabled pillow cover or cabled handbag. I’ll probably fasten off the part I finished and gift it to her at the same time. I doubt the yarn can be reused now.
  • Outfoxed Sholach (Afghan), for the same friend as the Fiesta, started in 2022. I started this one before she told me she’d love to see the other one finished. It’s currently around 1/3 the original intended size. If I can manage it, like to finish it, otherwise I’ll turn it into a bag.
  • Bone Daddy Hood for me started in late September. I just have the face details which are done with a smaller hook and the braids left.
  • Add a zipper to my pizza handbag.
  • I hope to make a blanket for my cousin’s child who was born in late spring but I’d like to make progress on the other long term projects first as she lives across the country and it will be the only blanket I make her so I would have no problem making a bigger one.

So today I have some options.
-Work on my second gnome bonnet hat

  • start my last big cat design
  • work on my sweater test

Or I could do all three lol!
I’m truly loving these gnome bonnets though!
It’s a free pattern on morale fiber’s blog!
So once I get organized I can begin my crochet travels today :joy:
