Any tips or tricks for sewing on ears/legs/arms? They get placed with amig. Sticks prior to sew on. But, they still end up lower or higher than the other side.
Also, how do you know where to place the eyes?
This is my 4th plushie Ive done as a gift .
If the piece is done in continuous spirals chances are that’s why it could end up higher/lower than the other, as for the eyes the pattern should mention which rows to place them in for example between rows 12-13 you would count to row 12, and the next space space the safety eye so it’s between the two rows, as for tips, when working with chenille or blanket yarn you could use a similar colored worsted weight 4 yarn to sew the piece together that way it’s less likely to snap
I usually plan out what row in going to add them on then add stitch markers when I finish that specific row
Thank you Ill give that a try next time I do a plushie. The continuous rounds really throw me off when doing the eyes. Although, this time I forgot to add the safety eyes prior to stuffing and sewing on the head to the body.
