Tester call advice?

Hey everyone I’m gonna be putting out a tester call for my first ever pattern in the next week! and I wanted to know if any of y’all have any advice for me? Also if you want to be tagged when I put out the tester call lmk!!! The pattern is a classic Winnie the Pooh themed baby lovey!

For the tester call: I find it useful to specify what supplies you have used (type of yarn + hook size), especially if you want testers to use the same. It can avoid bad surprises such as “I have volunteered to test but it turns out that I don’t have the right hook to complete the pattern!”

For the pattern itself: I hear that safety eyes and nose are a choking hazard for babies. It would be great to list brands that are safe (if you know some) or give an alternative like embroidering the eyes and snout.
Another tip: some people crochet loosely. It’s not an issue for most projects, but a baby might handle the plushie roughly and polyester fibers from the stuffing might start to poke out. A quick safety tip to avoid babies chewing those is to line Pooh’s head with old nylon pantyhose (cut the sock part, stuff it, tie it closed, then insert it into Pooh’s head).

Good luck!
