Tester call for Crochet: Abstract Christmas Tree Wall-hanging

Hi Everyone,
I need 3-4 testers for this wall-hanging. Must have some experience with tapestry crochet and know how to carry non-working yarn but other than that the pattern is fairly simple and uses only CH and SC.

#4 weight yarn, approx 200Yds in main color
#3 or 4 weight yarn, approx 20 yds in contrast color
5MM crochet hook
Dowel or tree branch for hanging
Complete by 27Aug

I would like testers to:
Provide 1-2 photos of finished wall hanging
Post photos in a public journal
Call out any errors so I can address and/or fix
Provide any constructive feedback and/or ideas to improve the pattern.

That’s beautiful! Unfortunately, I’ve never done Tapestry crochet before.

It’s probably a technique that I don’t know, but my trunk isn’t as clearly defined as yours.

I’m in heaven making this pattern though. I’ve been wanting to try a tapestry pattern for ages (but not Tunisian because I only have regular hooks).

Thank you for taking a chance on me.

Yes, that is one of the characteristics of tapestry crochet. The lines appear blurry but I really like making items with the technique. And like everything else, you get better and better the more you practice.

For not having any experience with tapestry, you’re doing awesome. I think my first attempt at it is still in my unfinished

Yes! That video is definitely a keeper. Thank you!

I watched a video on YouTube using Floating color changes. I did not like it. So messy on the back.

The crocheted part of the tree is finished. Great pattern!

Again, thank you for letting me test it. I have wanted to try Tapestry for awhile. I definitely will do more of it.

Good job! You do not know how my designer heart soars when I see the work of others using one of my patterns. Tapestry, intarsia and mosaic crochet are new worlds that are as beautiful as they are challenging but so worth it. I hope you continue to challenge yourself.
