:bat: Tester Call – Batty (4u) Crochet Pattern :bat:

I’m looking for a few crocheters (5-7) to test my new Batty (4u) pattern! This is an beginner amigurumi.

Due Date: 2026-02-02T10:00:00Z→2026-02-02T10:00:00Z

:sparkling_heart: I’ll be choosing testers on Sunday 2026-01-27T10:00:00Z→2026-01-27T10:00:00Z

:sparkles: Extensions will be limited.
This is a small pattern so I am limiting the extensions on this but I know life can get in the way if you need one, you must let me know at least three days before the deadline. I’ll also be checking in the group chat at that time.( 2026-01-31T10:00:00Z→2026-01-31T10:00:00Z)

✨Pattern Details

  • Crochet level: Confident beginner & up

  • Techniques: Worked in the round, single crochet, increases/decreases, crocheting in a chain

  • Materials: super bulky weight 6 plush yarn in purple, and Worsted weight acrylic yarns in red and pink for sewing, One pair of 18 mm safety eyes , Stuffing, 6.0 mm and 4.0 mm crochet hook (or hook to match your yarn just so there are no large gaps) , Darning needle

  • Optional materials: pink craft felt , needle felting white wool

  • Price :This will be a paid pattern for $4.00 when it goes live

  • I don’t mind if you sell your makes, but the pattern itself is copyrighted. Please credit Islandrosecrafts if you sell your makes

📝 Tester requirements

  • Provide clear feedback on the pattern instructions : clarity, stitch counts, and overall readability.

  • Share 1–2 progress photos and 1 finished photo.

  • Post a journal with a clear picture of your finished item. This is how I’ll confirm your project is complete and mark you off the testing list. Please ensure your photos are well-lit and free of background clutter, as I’ll also be posting finished photos on Instagram (with credit to you).

  • Be able to complete the project by 2/2/26.

  • Stay active in the group chat: Give progress updates, report any stitch count errors or typos, and ask questions if you need clarification.

  • No ghosting or quitting without notice: Anyone who disappears without explanation will be blocked from future testing. If an emergency arises and you need to leave testing, please let me know so I can remove you from the group properly.

  • Have at least 1 make posted on your account.

  • If you’ve read everything, please comment your yarn type, a bat emoji, and ,for a higher chance of being selected ,your Instagram handle if you have a public crochet account.

Make sure to read through all the above information in order to apply there are requirements that need to be met

Hi guys just wanted to put my tester call back out there I do want to get this tester up and going and I’ll be picking testers soon Id like to get a few testers. Sorry to repost it but i dont want to get lost under everything :sweat_smile: please give this pattern a shot.

I can test! I can use Dark Brown, white, Light Brown, like a coral pink, in acrylic, with a 2.75mm hook. The Browns are fore the body, unless I can’t make the hearts a light brown, then I’ll replace the colors with black and red :bat:

Your colors sound interesting! I do have to give you a heads up that doing acrylic weight 4 yarn for the body may result in a diffrent sized bat that could be too small for the heart wings :heart: love to have you test for me again though!!
