Remember like two weeks ago when I said I had some patterns I’m revamping?! This bb is one of them. It’s the first pattern I ever wrote, contains directions for a granny square for those super new to crochet - type of beginner friendly.
It’s a pretty sizeable garment, so due date is 09/03/2024. I’m in no rush, just know I appreciate you
I need testers for my Cathy Mesh Pocketed Shawl - Crochet ePattern
Due Date: 9/03/2024
Additional Requirements: none, it’ll be free when it’s out and it’s free but NOT the same rn on my ravelry. This is a complete redo, and you’re the first to get the update!
Any worsted weight yarn is fine I used an I 5.5 mm hook. I’m not super picky with my patterns and want them accessible to anyone more than anything. I’ve tried it with a couple brands of yarn to make sure
Im reworking it with 60 rows, lion brand 2-3 skeins would be 700-1000 yards
The picture of the one in the photo is the one I made for my grandma, so not quite my size but it’s part of the variable length and modifiability of it! I went up to 90 rows of mesh on that picture, and used 2.5 skeins of red heart, so roughly 1200 yards.
I’d say between 800-1200 depending on length, the mesh is stretchy and I’ve included instructions to make it as wide or as thin as you want as well if you’d rather it be more scarf like. You can make it as long or short as you want based on your comfort.
Agh ribblrs community is so overwhelmingly good ily guys so much. I hope those who use my patterns or help test them enjoy them, I really do love making them and I write them how I wish patterns were written for beginners when I first started - a pattern written with something to guide me but also an option to make it my own and guidance to do so and I really hope the things I make help steer others that just started and want that personalization but don’t know where or how to start. Thank you so much for all of your kind words I get so nervous asking for testers in case nobody wants to apply or people don’t like it but everyone has been so sweet and supportive on here compared to other places.
