Tester call for Crochet: Cauldron Pouch - Bottle Holder

I need testers for my Cauldron Pouch - Bottle Holder - Crochet ePattern
Attention all witches and Halloween lovers! :jack_o_lantern::woman_mage:

Due Date: Sunday, September 27th

I’m looking for testers for my newest pattern, the Cauldron Pouch / Bottle Bag! This pattern comes in three variations, so let me know in the comments which one you’d pick:

A) Cauldron Pouch - just the cauldron with the glowing potion top, perfect as a small pouch for yarn scraps or little treats
B) Bottle Bag - add the net extension to turn it into a cute holder for a bottle
C) Halloween Basket - go big for a large candy basket, great for trick-or-treating!

I made A and B using light worsted acrylic yarn, and once double-stranded with fingering weight cotton yarn. Variation C was made with thick Bobbiny macrame yarn, but bulky/chunky yarn could work well here too.

This could be such a fun project to use glow-in-the-dark yarn for, but that’s totally optional! Please stick to Halloween colors though (think a black cauldron with a green or red potion, or similar)!

Additional Requirements:

  • Please share all feedback in the group chat, and please no ghosting until the last day
  • If your finished size ends up a bit different (especially for the Bottle Bag), I could use some help with the math, since the stitch count matters there
  • By applying, I’ll assume it’s okay for me to use a photo of your finished make later, including on Instagram (you’ll get name credit if you’d like), otherwise just let me know

Testers will be chosen on: Sunday, September 6th
Testing period: 3 weeks
Testing deadline: Sunday, September 27th

To apply, comment which variation (A, B, or C) you’d like to make, so I know you’ve read everything!

Thank you so much for supporting my designs, I can’t wait to see all your spooky creations! :black_heart:

I’d love to do the bottle bag (B) in glow in the dark yarn if I can get my hands on some! How many yards is needed and what weight yarn (specifically the glow in the dark)?

If I can’t get the glow in the dark on time, I’d be happy to test the pouch (A) instead. I won’t know if I’ll be able to get the glow in the dark yarn until I’m home from my trip on the 12th/13th though, just as a heads up. If that’s too late notice, I’m happy to do the pouch as I have the colors needed for that!
