Hi everyone! I am looking for around 8 testers for my dangle earring pattern,I am considering this pattern as intermediate as embroidery thread can be difficult to work with as it is so thin, but the pattern uses basic stitches. It takes approximately 30 min-1 hour to make.
I will be requiring each tester to keep a journal and be able to take clear photos of their finished piece, so please keep that in mind when applying
Materials needed:
1 skein 8 ply embroidery thread (any color)
Pair of fishhook earring hardware
6 8mm jump O rings or oval rings (or similar)
Metal sewing needle
Hook size 3.25mm
Due Date: May 20th

I just applied, but wanted to give you more info:
I’ve been sewing for years (quilts, clothing, draperies - no tailoring). I have also been making jewelry for years. Crimp beads, wires, stones clasps, etc., but no setting of gemstones with prongs (tool and adhesive issues). So, I have all the jewelry supplies. I would use silver fish hook wires and embroidery thread in some aqua/teal color for one of the pieces. If it’s ok with you, I would like to use two additional colors for the other two, maybe a green and a lighter shade of green or blue…or perhaps more contrasting gemstone colors, a navy with a ruby and forest green? Of course, if you would like them all the same color, as your tester, that is what I would do!!!
I am a very new crochet-er. I think I am doing reasonably well with amigurumi stitches. (If it takes much more than basics, though, you may need to count me out.)
I would love to take a swing at it! Your pattern is beautiful, and I have been wanting to try some earrings.

I know my skills are limited, so here’s a photo of the pieces of the classic Pooh and Piglet stuffies I am working on now (only Pooh’s head is stuffed because we ran out of filling!):

I’ll be accepting everyone tonight (waiting on some hardware that is supposed to come in the mail to finish my photos). It uses pretty basic sts so I think you’ll do great
