I need testers for my Eggy Shark/Dolphin - Crochet ePattern

This pattern has already been through testing. However, I have updated the construction of the pectoral fins, to avoid one fin sticking up more than the other. I am looking for a couple of testers to test the entire pattern. Alternatively, if you have tested this before, I would be very grateful if you could read through the instructions for the pectoral fins and how to attach them to the body to make sure there are no errors.

Due Date: 2 weeks from start of test (I will pick testers in the next couple of days)

Skill Level: I have assigned an advanced beginner skill level to this pattern. While the majority of it involves simple stitches, there is some assembly required in sewing components together. Additionally, there are a few colour changes to create the belly and crocheting the tail and fins can be a little fiddly for the first couple of rounds.

Additional Requirements:

  • You can use any yarn and the appropriate hook size, and experiment with different colours. This pattern works particularly well in plush yarn.

  • The instructions include options for either safety eyes or crocheted eyes, so do not worry if you do not have any safety eyes

  • You must be willing to provide feedback on any parts of the pattern that are unclear or if you spot any errors / typos

  • A journal entry of the finished item would be amazing, but not required - however, I would love to see a photo of your finished Eggy.

Have been wanting to try one of your eggy patterns and this would be a good start! I would try in a chenille or plush yarn. So cute!

I would LOVE to test. I would use plush yarn with a size 5mm hook. I’m not sure what colors I’d use, but I’d love to test BOTH the shark and the dolphin if picked to test!
