Tester call for Crochet: Film reel scarf

I need testers for my Film reel scarf - Crochet ePattern
Due Date: 25th November (id like it done by 18th, but I know scarves take a long time) If need be i can give an extention to the 9th of December but no later then that

Additional Requirements: if you’d like to change the yarn, you can; you can also change the yarn weight to get a different outcome

This is a tapestry scarf I made for crocheters. I will choose 6-14 testers, as this is a big pattern for me and I’d like a variety of finished products.

Please, after clicking to apply, say what colour yarn and what weight of yarn and hook you will be using and put a :movie_camera: :clapper_board: after it to prove you read all of this

Hey, do you have an instagram?

I think this would make a cool gift for the folks who run my new favorite monthly library event where participants take recycled film stock and make artistic edits with typical art supplies. They tape together everyone’s 15 second chunks and then screen them for everyone & digitize the results. :film_projector: :film_strip: I’d go with the standard black and white in worsted with a 4.0mm hook. :movie_camera: :clapper_board:

Yes my other post isn’t getting alot of traction by itself so I thought If I re-posted it then it might reach more people

Id love to test! I’ll use a 4 mm hook with white and either black yarn or navy blue, it depends on how much black yarn I have left over  :movie_camera: :film_frames:

Oooh I’d love to test this! I’d stick to similar colors as the origianl, acrylic wt4 yarn most likely just because I have SO much of it available in these colors but possibly even cotton or wool for comfortability. Yarn weight will depend on what I’ve got in my stash (I have A LOT of yarn tho) and I’ll adjust gauge accordingly. And I’m thinking for wt4 acrylic yarn a size 5 or maybe even 6mm hook .

I was just thinking of trying to come up with a pattern for a film reel wearable of some sort for my son and/or his roommates for Christmas. They’re all actors and in college for it. This is absolutely perfect!! I’ve also been wanting to do more tapestry crochet. I’ve done a couple tapestry blankets, some mosaic blankets and washcloths, a few things similar and want to practice more patterns in this type but needed just the right item.

Ooh that sounds so fun

I would love to test!! :clapper_board: :camera_with_flash: :movie_camera: I would use black and white acrilic yarn and a 5.0 mm hook!! I plan to make this for my brother for Christmas!!!

This is not your pattern, it is an original design by lankabyme on instagram
