Call for Pattern Testers: The Fox Needle Book!
I am so excited to introduce my newest functional crochet design, and I’m looking for a few wonderful testers to help me perfect the pattern before its official release!
Say hello to the Fox Needle Book, a whimsical, woodland-inspired home to keep all your darning and sewing needles safe. The front cover features a sweet, sleeping fox face complete with delicate floral accents and a secure double-button closure. The woodland magic continues on the back, where a vibrant little garden blooms alongside a tiny ladybug and the fox’s curled, fluffy tail.
It’s a fantastic stash-buster and makes a beautiful, handcrafted gift for the makers in your life. The pattern will include detailed, step-by-step instructions and reference photos to guide you through the construction and applique details.
What I’m looking for:
**Feedback:
- Honest feedback on clarity, stitch counts, pattern flow, and any typos.
**Skill Level:
Advanced Beginner / Intermediate (comfortable with color changes, small appliques, and assembling pieces).
**Photos:
At least 2-3 clear, well-lit photos of your finished needle book that I can share (with credit to you, of course!).
**Completion Date:
08/26th
**Materials Needed:
- Worsted weight yarn in dark brown, cream/white, black
- size 10 thread in green, and a few bright colors for the flowers and ladybug.
- 1.3 and 2.5 crochet hook.
- Two buttons for the closure.
- Standard notions (tapestry needle, scissors).
- Felt (1 sheet)
