Very cute! I have a couple of questions though.

It says mini but the photo makes it look like it is maybe 10 inches tall or more which is more medium/large. What are the measurements of your elephant?

Also, does the pattern include instructions for where and when to place eyes? It is very cute even without eyes but most people will want to add them.

Is there a reason you don’t want other yarn types? It is best to get a variety of yarn types during testing since future customers can use any type of yarn.

TIA

Hey! Thanks for your feedback and questions!

You are right it is around 8 inches actually. I did call it mini as it was smaller than my usual projects. But I will change the name and maybe remove mini altogether as it seems to be causing some confusion (my bad and im sorry)

Yep the pattern does have eye placements, i tend to avoid eyes as it adds a hard element to it and most of it goes to my younger cousins.

As for yarn choice, limiting the tester call to chenille yarn was a stylistic choice. This elephant is part of a planned collection of plushie patterns designed around a specific soft, chunky aesthetic. Since this is my very first published pattern, I wanted to focus on ensuring the design works consistently within that style before exploring additional yarn weights and variations.

I absolutely agree that testing with different yarn types is valuable, and that’s something I’d love to expand on in future pattern releases and updates as the collection grows.

Thank you again for your feedback! And sorry for the long reply :sob:

This is adorable! I love the combo of colors vs the standard single color. I have plenty of plush. Do the volora have to be the same if chosen?

Thank you so much for responding and answering all of my questions!

Ofc not! You can use any colours. As long as you stay true to the design and it is a weight 6ish yarn.

What size hook for the pattern?

Size 7mm hook. Best for the yarn weight and tension.
