Hi everyone! I need testers for my cosmic and ice kaiju kitsunes! This pattern is from a kids creation collaboration with other designers for kaiju drawings done by some 10 year olds in my husband’s class. These were 2 separate designs but I chose to put them into the same pattern. So there are instructions for ice and cosmic colors. I also decided to make a standard and a snuggler type version so there are instructions for both!
Due date is September 30th. No ghosting! If you need to quit, just tell me. I’ll be checking in and if you don’t respond within a certain time, I may boot you.
This pattern is advanced beginner/intermediate as there is a lot of sewing and color changing involved.
There are no yarn requirements. Don’t even mind what colors you use
If you’ve read all this, put your yarn type and hook size in the comments along with an ice or star emoji to indicate which of the kitsunes you would be interested in making. Also would like to know if you want to do snuggler or regular. I need a variety so I make sure all the pattern works.

I’d love to test the regular kitsune with acrylic yarn and 2.5mm hook.
I would love to test! I would use 8mm hook with sweet snuggles yarn, but I also have Feels like Bliss yarn so lmk if you want me to use that , the snuggler version!
If I have time, I would also like to test the snuggler!

I would be using Loops & Threads Big Twist and a 5 or 6 mm hook.
Slight preference to stuffed, but would absolutely do a snuggler too!
These are absolutely adorable and I would love to test this! I would to test either of them (if I had to choose maybe the cosmic one ) and would do a regular version Big Twist Twinkle to give it that glittery sparkly effect for the snow or galaxy design and would use a 3.75mm hook or use some Big Twist Amigurumi yarn with a 2.5mm hook to see if the design translates to smaller thinner yarns.
Omg these are amazing! I’ve worked with kids for over a decade and I love what you’re doing with this series (is it a series?) I saw the poison one and sooooooo wanted to test but saw how many applicants you had. I’d love to test your pattern and It’s honestly so hard to choose which, I like elements of both! I’d test with acrylic yarn and a 3.5mm hook unless you’re looking for plush, then I could test with chenille yarn and a 4mm hook
The poison one is part of the collab but was done by @LexaLovelyCrafts! There are 8-10 of us who plan to create patterns based on kids designs from my husband’s class, we’re just the first ones done. These are specifically kaiju.
I’ve got 6 released designs in the general kids creation, and also a kids creation dragon series (1 released and 1 about to be). I’ve got dozens of designs waiting too I got myself in deep!
