Looking for 3-4 adventurous peeps to test this bowler hat pattern. It is designed specifically for tape or raffia yarn so if you have been itching to try either one, this is your opportunity. To be honest, raffia is not the easiest to work with and it is hard on the hands but it makes great hats. I did find a softer and more pliable alternative in Lion Brand Rewind tape yarn (less expensive, too) which works just as well.
Raffia or tape yarn, approximately 200 yds
H8/5mm crochet hook
sl st and sc are the only stitches used
Complete date: April 3
Progress photos are optional but I do require at least 1 photo of the finished hat posted on a public journal so I can validate the test.
