Looking for testers!!!

Please note: This pattern does not include the lemon, however I am still accepting testers for the lemon until the 18th of January. If you’re interested in testing both, please send me a message or look out for the Little Lemon testing call :smiley:

Thank you for your interest to test this pattern! To ensure the pattern is clear, accurate, and enjoyable for future makers, all testers must meet the following requirements:

Completion

  • The pattern must be fully completed by the stated due date.

  • Please only apply if you are confident you can finish the project within the testing period.

Testing Journal & Notes

  • Testers are required to keep a testing journal or notes while working through the pattern.

  • Please record:

    • Any confusing, unclear, or incorrect instructions

    • Errors, typos, or missing information

    • Sections that felt too repetitive or could be simplified

    • Suggestions for improving clarity, flow, or sizing (if applicable)

    • There will be a group made for discussing the pattern!

Modifications & Materials

  • Please record any changes you make to the pattern, including:

    • Yarn type and weight

    • Hook size

    • Colour changes

    • Any personal modifications or adjustments

Finished Project Photo

  • Once completed, testers must submit at least one clear, good-quality photo of the finished piece.

  • These photos will be featured in the Tester Section at the end of the pattern as a thank-you and shoutout, so good lighting and clear detail are appreciated.

Feedback & Communication

  • Honest, constructive feedback is expected — both what worked well and what could be improved.

  • Please communicate issues as they arise rather than waiting until the end of the test.

Final Notes

  • This is an active test — silent testing or incomplete projects may result in not being accepted for future patterns & testing.

  • Your time, effort, and feedback are genuinely appreciated and help make this pattern the best it can be.

I’d enjoy being a tester. I’d use RedHeart supersaver yarn and a 4mm hook. I’d do a lemon, a lime and probably and orange.

Have finished the lemon pattern test and would love to finish it with this pattern test. I’ve used dk yarn and 3.5mm hook

It will be paid (not too much) but I will be bundling it with the lemon pattern for those who wish to turn it into a granny square or just keep the lemon separate :smiley:

I have made them as two separate patterns as some people prefer to just make the lemon separately. However, after testing, they will be bundled together :D

Hi, I have finished the lemon square. Pattern was easy and quick to work up and I found no mistakes or issues throughout. It took me about half an hour to complete and I used Dk yarn and a 3.5mm hook size. Thank you for letting me test, I will now go and write a journal for this project
