Tester call for Crochet: Marine Creatures - 7-in-1 No-Sew Mini Loaf Animals Pattern Bundle

Hi guys!! I need testers for my no-sew Marine Creatures bundle!!

Those of you following me on Instagram or YouTube know that I designed these patterns a while back, but it took a lot longer than I was intending to get them ready because I’m still back in Singapore and it’s been a busy two weeks , but here they are! Since this is a slightly bigger bundle, I’m looking for anywhere between 10-16 testers this time! Like all my loaf animals, these little guys work up within an hour and are no-sew!

The PDF version of this pattern is out for testing on my Instagram as well. Feel free to apply to both!! (But please let me know if your username here is different from the one on Instagram!)

Due Date: August 3rd

Please only apply if you’re able to finish on time, and pleaseee let me know if you want to opt out of testing! If you have not completed the journal (with a picture) by the due date with no explanation, I will have to assume that you no longer want to test the pattern and remove you :(

Additional Requirements:

:yarn: Plush yarn testers will have priority. Please use colors that fit each sea creature!

:camera: Please make a journal with at least one good picture in it (good lighting + clear/uncluttered background). I especially love natural lighting/outdoor pics :D The quality of your photos WILL affect whether you will be chosen.

- I may also use photos for promotional purposes, so let me know if you don’t want your picture included. Thanks!

:envelope: Use the group chat to discuss any concerns, feedback, or things you’re confused about. Let me know about errors/suggestions in the group chat—not in the final journal please!

:speech_balloon: Comment what yarn you would use and which animals you want to test. Please pick AT LEAST 2 as this bundle includes 7 animals! Of course if you’re able to test 3 or more, that would be great!! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

(Note: if you don’t have any makes on Ribblr yet, please attach at least one picture of your make(s))

Thank you! :)

I’ll be choosing testers within 3 days.

So cute! I’d love to do the seal and dolphin with skinny velvet yarn and a 2.5mm hook. I can do more if I have extra time which will most likely happen.

Adorable! Would use Keche Velvet Chenille with either a 4.5mm or 5mm hook and would start with the Beluga, Orca, and Dolphin, and see what others I could make depending on time. Also on insta- @corissalawrence

I would love to test for you using Bernat Blanket yarn (weight 6) in the natural colors of the marine creature. I’m up for testing all of them but definitely the dolphin, orca, and seal.

These are absolutely adorable! I’d love to be a tester! I could do the dolphin and shark in gray and blue skinny chenille yarn with a 3 mm hook. I might also do more in a plush yarn and 4 mm hook as well if I have time!

Here are some of my makes (I would make sure to take even better quality photos for the sake of the pattern testing):

hi, i would love to test if you’d like to see an acrylic version! i would do the whale and rhe dolphin.

whale: blue and white acrylic yarn, 3.5 mm hook.

dolphin: i could make two of these, and i would probably do one in blue and one in gray acrylic yarn, and i’d use a 3.5 mm hook!

i would definitely get it done by the due date, and i could also take a nice picture outside.

good luck with testing!

I’d like to test the shark, the dolphin and the orca please.

Size 5 yarns and 4.5 mm hook.

Fun.

And I remembered to click the pic to apply this time. ;)

I love those. You’ve done a great job making them very cute and simplified but not crossing the line and making them into blobs. I would like to test some in a mini chenille, 2.0mm hook. Choosing the first 2 is difficult… If have to say #1 is the hammerhead because it’s just so unusual. #2 the other shark. If I have extra time, the beluga and then the seal. I would be willing to change that, though, if you specifically needed someone for a different animal.

I don’t mind my test photos being used because I figure that’s sort of the point of them.

I have a bunch of makes, but I’m pasting a couple that were done specifically in the chenille.

OMG I would love to be a tester. I would use lips and threads Demi purl yarn, with a 6.5 mm hook. I would make the seal the beluga and the dolphin if I have time!
