Tester call for Crochet: Modular dicebox [CLOSED]

I need testers for my Modular dicebox - Crochet ePattern
Due Date:2026-08-01T22:00:00Z
Additional Requirements:

  • Make a journal as you work
  • If you cannot finish, communicate this and review as much of the pattern as you can. Complete the project even if this falls outside the window
  • I am curious to know what yarn you use, let me know in the comments! I used 8/4 cotton yarn, and am curious how other yarns make this pattern come out. Do try to keep the gauge correct

Not a requirement but highly appreciated: Take a photo of your finished project in good lighting (i.e. in daylight or slightly warm white light with no additional lighting from a phone flashlight). With your permission I will put this photo on the cover with your username as tester appreciation. This can be opted out of.

Tester application closes 2026-07-08T15:00:00Z, testers will be informed by 2026-07-08T21:59:59Z
Note: English is not my first language. If some grammar/sentence structure does not make sense, please inform me.

That’s strange, it does show up for me. In any case, here is the link to apply to be a tester if the image does not show up and that link does not work for you

I meant I would like to see what it looks like.

Could you please send a picture?

I’m sorry I don’t think I would be able to make that as I’m going on holiday for a while.

There are 3 members of my family with far too many dice sets for D&D. I would love to test this. It would make great gifts and they would really appreciate the soft case. Acrylic, #4 yarn, 4.0mm hook.

I try to take nice photos. For my testing photos, I always assume that the designer might want to use my photos for publicity purposes.

I would use worsted acrylic yarn for this.

I also can’t load the picture in the main post, so I appreciate the second picture you sent! I have been wanting to make a dice box because I play DnD with my friend who just has a cardboard box of dice :joy: I would use worsted acrylic yarn but probably 3mm hook because I like it to look tighter

that looks really cool! good luck with testing!

that looks so cool! good luck with testing :two_hearts:

glwt!

I love this!!! I’m a big dungeons and dragons fan, and if I could be tagged in the release, that would be great!

this is such a cool design for dice storage. i am the kind of person who cannot stop buying dice (or yarn) whether i need it or not  if you pick me, i’m thinking worsted cotton yarn, probably in blue and purple to match my most used dnd dice sets.
