No-Sew Gandalf, the Grey Crochet / Amigurumi Pattern

Hey there! I started my new collection: Lord of the Rings and I would love to have your help testing it. The first character is Gandalf, the Grey. Four more characters are to come! This is a no-sew pattern, but with many details! It might seem a bit challenging at first look, but I promise you it is not. Please only apply if you will be able to finish by the due date.

You can use any hook with any yarn with matching colors.

Testers will be chosen on June 16th.
Due date: June 30th.
Difficulty level: Intermediate.

I am so excited to find this post! Your dolls are amazing! I love to crochet the dolls! My son is going to go nuts when he sees this. He is the biggest Lord of the Rings fan! I would be honored to test this for you! He is absolutely positively amazing! I use acrylic yarn and size 3.5 or 4 hook. He would definitely be done early! GLWT!

I love Lord of the Rings and would be honored to test this. The fact that this is no sew is also amazing. I might not have 2 different shades of grey, would a white for the beard be ok?

Ive applied! My best friend introduced me to LotRs 2 years ago. I get to go see him in August (he lives in Scotland) and I would LOVE to bring him his favorite wizard! :heart_eyes:

Oh my gosh!!! That’s absolutely fantastic! I can’t test at the moment, but I just wanted to say FABULOUS JOB! I love lotr, (I was reading the 3rd book today actually!) and this is a perfect gandalf! GLWT!:sparkles:

This is so cool! I would be delighted to test it! I would use worsted weight acrylic yarn with a 3.5 mm hook.

He looks fantastic! I’d love to test Gandalf for you (my husband is a big lord of the rings fan) and if included I’d be using dk (light) weight cotton with a 3.25mm hook, in similar colours. :slightly_smiling_face:
