Tester call for Crochet: Owen the Otter

I need testers for my Owen the Otter - Crochet ePattern

Please read everything before applying!

Due Dates:

Testers will be chosen by September 25th, 2026 (MDT).

The Journals and Otter need to be finished by October 10th, 2026 (MDT). There will be minimal extensions.

Additional Requirements:

:otter: Submit a Journal by the due date, with a good background and natural lighting.

:ocean: Do NOT ghost in the group chat. If you cannot access the group chat or have to leave for some reason, please PM me so I can help.

:otter: Please be honest in all you do, especially when something needs corrections.

:ocean: If you have time, I would love the fish and bucket to be tested since they are slightly trickier in areas.

:otter: No yarn requirements, please feel free to use any color you want!

:ocean: Be okay with your journals and usernames being posted in tester appreciation.

:otter: I will be more choosy with the tester I pick, so if you don’t have any makes, make sure to add a picture in your comments. I want this to be the best quality as possible, so please make sure to put in effort!

:ocean: Comment below that you would like to test, and don’t forget to add an otter or wave emoji!

I think that is it! If you have any questions, feel free to ask them in the comments below and I am so excited to see what you all can make! Thank you so much!

EDIT!!
I’d love to test! I looked too long and he’s too cute! I will look at my stash in the morning if that is okay, and then I will decide my hook and yarn and edit this again

I would love to test with acrylic yarn or cotton yarn:otter:

I would love to test for you again! I would use chenneil or acrylic yarn in either similar colours to yours or some completely different!

Would love to test this!

:ocean::otter:

Would probably use a 3.5mm hook and 8ply cotton yarn, or 4mm hook with a chenille. Can do whichever you’d prefer. Thanks for considering me!

Hi I would love the opportunity to test this adorable otter and his little bucket and fishy’s. This would be my first time testing, but I have been crocheting for over 6 years. Here are some pictures of things I’ve made.

I would love to test your little :otter: cutie!

Would love to test your :otter:! I am an experienced tester and have plenty of time. I would use worsted acrylic and a 3.5mm hook.
