Tester call for Crochet : Pretty Summer Mermaid Top

I need testers for my Pretty Summer Mermaid Top!
:jellyfish::mermaid::spiral_shell:
Due Date: August 6th, 2025
:jellyfish::mermaid::spiral_shell:
Some things to note before applying:
:mermaid: I will be very picky with testers this time around, since I want to make sure I can put this out on time before the summer season ends and I start making winter patterns!
:mermaid: This is a more intermediate pattern, though hopefully whoever applies to test will be able to help me better judge this!
:mermaid: I will be taking very few testers this time around, since I only want so many people helping me with the sizing
:mermaid: This pattern is made in an XL, so I’ll need people to do lowest XXS/XS to around XXL (depending on who applies, and what sizes people plan on doing!)
:mermaid: Testers will be chosen on July 23rd, and I will stop accepting tester applications July 25th
:jellyfish::mermaid::spiral_shell:
Requirements:
:spiral_shell: Must have tested AND completed 5 prior tests
:spiral_shell: BEFORE applying, comment what yarn you plan on using and what size you will want to test
:spiral_shell: I would also prefer intermediate crocheters to apply, however if youre inbetween a beginner and intermediate and feel you can do the pattern, by all means go ahead!

Other than that, click the photo to apply, I can’t wait to see who applies!

Oh my!! It’s so cute! I’m about a medium. How long would you say it takes to make this? If I decide to test, is it okay if I made it a little longer, so I could wear it as a swimsuit cover-up? Also, I would use purple worsted weight yarn.

So for me it took a little longer only because I went through about 4 different mesh designs before settling down on the one there is, however I’d say if you work consistantly it should take about 3 weeks? Though of course I’m willing to do extensions if needed!

Hey I’m somewhere in the M-XL range depending on different brands/styles but I could be more sure if you have a sizing chart or something

So the point of the tester call is to figure out thar sizing chart! So if you do become a tester, it would be the circumference of your bust for the top part, then that same width continues the entire way down

I love this top :heart_eyes: I would use either a blue or pink 4 weight yarn from the brand yarn bee! And I’ve been crocheting for almost 3 years so I’d say I’d definitely be able to make this. I would make it either a small or an extra small bc I’m between those sizes

Okay then I’d like to try making the large with a medium “baby hombre” acrylic yarn if that’s alright with you!
