Hi everyone! I am sure some of you know me as I’ve been a tester for quite a while. Well I have a little secret
I have finally built some courage and created my very own pattern! Christmas is my favourite time of year so of course my first pattern is Christmas related ![]()
I am looking for a few wonderful pattern testers to help me test my newest holiday design, Randy the Reindeer - Crochet ePattern
If you love semi low-sew projects and want to add a bit of handmade magic to your holiday season, I’d love to have you on board!
About the Pattern:
-
Skill Level: Advanced-beginner/Intermediate (includes a little bit of face sculpting and some slightly tricky techniques (maybe?), but nothing too difficult!)
-
Finished Size: Just over 30ish cm tall.
-
Construction: Mostly low-sew! The arms, legs, and tail are all crocheted right in as you go. You will need to sew on the ears, lip, antlers, and the head-to-body.
Materials Needed:
-
Yarn: Soft chenille or velvet yarn, but feel to use whatever you want! It would be nice to see how it turns out with other yarns.
-
Hook: 4.5 mm crochet hook (or whatever hook size matches your preferred tension with your yarn).
-
Standard amigurumi supplies (stitch markers, safety eyes, stuffing, tapestry needle, etc.).
Tester Requirements:
-
Create a public project on Ribblr and provide helpful feedback on clarity, stitch counts, level of skill, spelling and instructions.
-
Post clear, well-lit photos of your finished Randy once completed.
-
Communicate any errors, typos, or confusing parts into the chat (not in your Journal) so I can polish the pattern before its official release.
How to Apply:
If you’d like to test, please drop a comment below letting me know:
-
What yarn, crochet hook and colours you’d like to use!
-
Add a Reindeer
or Christmas “something”
to spread the christmas cheer
Applications close in a few days, and I’ll select testers shortly after. Thank you so much for your support and happy crocheting! ![]()
