I’m more concerned with how the pattern reads. You can try it in a different color. If you have a navy blue that would be close too.

You do not need to pay to test. I’m not exactly sure how much black I used but if I had to guess it was a little more than half a skein.

I’ve never been a tester before, but want to try. What’s the journal and what’s it for? Is just a step by step or how easy it was to read/make the pattern?
