I love him!!! He’s SO cute

I would use Peaches & Crème yarn and a 4-4.5mm hook depending on stitch type

That sounds like he’d be adorable I can’t wait to see how he turns out for you!

Awww, Squirt is adorable!! I’d love to test him for you, using chenille or blanket yarn…oh, he’d be big!!:turtle:

I did mine with loops and thread blanket yarn and a 5mm hook and he turned out to be like a medium size. But a big squirt would be adorable along with a baby squirt!!!

You sent me the pattern as a gift rather than putting it in my testing. Probably not a big deal, I wouldn’t think, but I’d rather have it in my testing so I don’t accidentally forget to test it!!

I also had this problem

For future reference @Lilterrifer if you gift it, the person could just not do the test and stuff keep the pattern.

Applied! I would use beginner yarn and a 3.5-4mm hook if chosen :)

Is there a group chat for the testers?
I’ve got a few things that need to be looked at…

Head

State what color to start with…
Green or color A

R3 - is only 16 stitches, not 24 stitches. Do we stop at 16 or should it actually be c 24 stitches? I did the following to get to 24 stitches…
R3 sc, inc (16)
R4 2sc, inc (24)

After R10, the note doesn’t make sense…“using to match stitches2 by 2 should be 4 markers”…are we supposed to use stitch markers on the 4 stitches? Or slip stitch the stitches together to end up with 4 stitches?

Legs 4x - should be larger and in the middle (like Head)

State starting color (green or color A)

Shell 2x - should be larger and in the middle (like Head)

State starting color (Grey or color B)

Row 6 - has 2 total st count…I think the first one (34) should be removed. Kind of confusing like this.

Thanks and I’m almost done! Still have the 2nd shell and assembly to finish up.
