So, I went back and checked the rules and it clearly states that :

Designers may set a testing criteria such as a due date, requesting testers to add journal notes or share a finished make photo on a social media platform, and more. This information must be disclosed on the tester call post.

so it’s clearly in the rules that I’m allowed to ask that.
