Hello Hello!
I’m finally shaking the dust out of my designing skills and now I’m back with another one! The Tea Top - Crochet ePattern.
This top is worked in two identical panels, sewn together, with the option of short or long sleeves. Because it’s made to measure, you can use any yarn weight you prefer. It’s an easy Intermediate level pattern, but beginners should be able to make it with a bit of patience.
I’m looking for
Makers of all skill levels and sizes
Must be able to follow written instructions
Be active in the test group and share updates weekly (at least one update per week is required)
Keep a journal of your project here on Ribblr
Provide high‑quality modeled photos of the finished piece (no face required)
Give detailed feedback on clarity and any errors you find
Due Date: May 20
Testing will run for 4 weeks. I will notify and send the pattern to testers on April 22, with the deadline set for May 20.
Most communication will happen within the Ribblr test group. At the end of testing you’ll get a the finished version of the pattern.
If you’d like to apply, please leave a comment below letting me know:
The yarn weight you plan to use
The size you’ll be making
If you’re comfortable modeling the finished piece
(if you don’t leave a comment I’ll think you clicked on the link and applied by mistake. Make sure you leave a comment)
Feel free to tag someone you think will be interested
Due date again: May 20 (4 weeks)

Hi! That looks so fun! I would use yarn weight 4. For size, I’m not sure if you mean long vs short sleeves or if you have different sizing options. But I would do long sleeves and medium if that’s an option. And yes I would be comfortable modelling the finished product
Hello! I would love to test using a weight four yarn! I would love to make this in a size medium but I would be happy testing any other size if need be! I would love to make this with long sleeves. I am comfortable sharing photos!
I would love to test this with Caron latte cakes, they’re a 5/bulky in weight. And I could make either a large/XL for myself or I could do a youth small/medium for my 8year old daughter and would be fine adding pictures of it being worn.
So cute! I think I would use a weight 3/4 yarn needing a 5/ 6 crochet hooktrying to think of some color combinations I can do . I am a size medium. I would be comfortable modeling the final piece!
Hi I would like to test. I have #4 yarn that I could use and would like to make short sleeve for the summer. Also is it ok if I don’t put it on and just take pictures of it not on me?
Thank you!!
I forgot to mention that it’s a made to measure pattern. I just want a variety of sizes for testers so I can see the piece in different bodys, to see if works for everybody.
hi! this looks absolutely stunning, and i’d love to test it! i would use size 5 acrylic, and i’m not sure whether i’d do short or long sleeves yet! i’m roughly a 2x, but depending on how i feel i may make it closer to 3 for my desired fit!
I would love to test this. It also looks like you could make the body longer or shorter, depending on what you’re looking for. I’ve tested a sweater here before (you can see it in my “makes”). I would use a worsted weight yarn and an F or G hook. I don’t mind showing me wearing it. Depending on the measurements, I wear a M or L.
This is super cute I am super curious how much yarn did you use to make your sample? I am trying to get an idea if I have enough yarn to even attempt it.
you can adjust the fit as you want, being a made to measure pattern you can easily decide on that! I ask for sizes so I can have a diverse group of testers
I’m trying to get my hands on a precision scale at the moment, I plan to have that information for the final version of the pattern. I’m not done with my short sleeve version, and for the one in the picture I did it a couple years ago, I don’t remember for sure how much I used.
