Tester call for : Howl's Jacket

Hello everyone!

I need testers for my Howl's Jacket - ePattern

Due Date: 3 months from tester assignment/approval

Additional Requirements:

  1. Please tell me if there’s any part of the pattern that is not clear, especially for the instructions on adjusting the pattern to your size. This jacket is a bit oversized (my size is M/L). Please regularly communicate all concerns to me!
  2. Please indicate if you are using a different kind of yarn.
  3. I would also like to see the finished output, if possible.

I intend to sell this pattern on Ravelry (Ribblr payment methods are not supported in my country).

Thanks!!

Three things, 1 probably about how long does take 2, wanted to check whether it was crochet 3, about how much yarn is needed.

Based off the picture i think its crochet, but since it doesnt mention hooksize or yarn, i want to make sure.

OMG ID LOVE TO TEST THIS! That’s one of my favorites from studio ghibli :]

If this is crochet, I’d love to test! If there isn’t a yarn specification, I’d probably use truboo or another similar bamboo type of yarn.

Oop sorry I forgot to indicate  but yes! This is a crochet project.

I used 6ply bamboo cotton yarn for this project, Around 4-6 yarn balls for both blue and pink.

Yarn specifications:

  • Bamboo Cotton Blend Yarn (70% bamboo, 30% cotton), 6 ply Lace
  • Thickness: ~1mm
  • Yardage: ~179-196 per ball of yarn

Hook size: 3.0

Hello!

  1. I think it takes a few weeks to do it, around 2-3 months or so. It still depends though. I crocheted my jacket in between school tasks  so it took a while in my case.
  2. Yes, this is crochet! Main stitch is double crochet.
  3. I used around 4-6 rolls of my bamboo cotton yarn (yardage: ~179-196 per ball of yarn)

Hope this helps! Thank you!

Cant tell for sure, but based off the picture, is the back pannel just solid blue or excluding the sleeves is it worked as “one” piece
Another thing, is it multiple sizes or just 1

It looks amazing, i wish i could test but i dont quite have the experience with clothing yet.

Good luck with testing!

I would LOVE to test this! I have a road trip with my husband coming up for his eye surgery and this would be perfect to work on while we drive! Howl’s moving castle is my fave, I even have a signed copy of the art book from the movie! I would be totally honored to test!

What brand yarn did you use? Coboo? Do you prefer we use the same brand or would any bamboo or cotton blend work?

This is amazing! Gl with testing!

How long will you keep this testing post open?

I love making sweaters and my husband would look so cute in this.
