I need testers for my Luna Twist Top - ePattern
Difficulty: (Adventurous beginner) recommended to someone who is a beginner but would like to challenge themselves with learning some new simple skills.
No past testing experience needed.
Skills used (tutorial links provided for all):
- casting off and on
- 2x2 rib knitting
- simply cable knitting
- picking up stitches
- sewing/ crochet slip st (for creating side seams only)
• knitting I-cord ties.
Due Date: flexible - just message me and we can sort a suitable date.
It is a chunky 6 st cable knit top that has a small side slit and ties together at the shoulders with i-cord bows. It has intricate contrast trims made with alpaca silk and wool yarn - making a speedy project where you will learn a lot!
Rewards for testers: The final pattern for free and a future pattern from my shop for free. Added to my list of pattern testers (with your consent).
Tester Requirements:
- Reply to my check in message that I will send once a week e.g. send me a message once a week on how you’re doing (no pressure on progress)
- Upload at least 2 finished photos of your final luna twist top! Will not be posted anywhere without your consent.
- Make notes on parts you’ve struggled with and if there’s any errors you have found.
Materials:

3.00 mm needles

6mm needles.

Double pointed or circular needles (to create i-cord ties)

A cable needle.

Scissors or snips

Tape measure

4 stitch markers

2-3 skeins of chunky acrylic yarn (100g/ 155m) (gauge = 14st x 17 rows = 10x10cm on 6mm needles)

1/2 skien of fuzzy yarn (25g/140m)(gauge = 17sts x 22 rows = 10x10cm on 5mm needles)

1/2 skien of 4ply wool yarn (25g/ 116m)(gauge = 28sts x 37 rows =10x10cm using 3.25mm needles)
OR (instead of last 2 yarns) -
1 skien of wool or fuzzy yarn (50g/150m)(gauge = 19sts x 28 rows = 10x10cm on 3mm needles)
