Tester call for pattern-Crochet pattern: Gaymer Vest

I need testers for my Gaymer Vest - pattern-Crochet ePattern

I do hope you guys would like to help. This is the first time I have used Ribblr for testing patterns. I am looking for experienced crocheter’s who have tested patterns in the past.

Pattern is in UK terminology and includes a graphic chart.
Yarn is a double knit weight and has a 60% Cotton 40% Acrylic composition.

Testing period is from today, 23 Apr 2023 to 23 May 2023 and I am hoping to have at least 5 testers (please let me know which size you are willing to make). During this time I would appreciate testers to not share details online, but after the closing you are welcome to share images of your test garments (please tag/credit @unravel_unwind).

I am hoping there are no errors, but when you copy/paste from a word doc into the Ribblr format there may be mistakes, so I am looking for people who are happy to share any errors or feedback so that I can publish a pattern that I am proud off.

Many thanks in advance, Faye

Hiya! Just a note about Ribblr as a platform, it automatically translates between terminology so even if you have it written in UK it can be easily switched to US depending on tester preference.

I wish I had time to test as this is absolute gorgeous!

Thank you for letting me know, I hadn’t realised that. That certainly makes my life easier as I won’t have to translate/edit all my patterns.

Thank you for your comment about the top too, it is always a bit unnerving when getting ready to publish.

Thank you. I am excited about this one. It was inspired by my shop volunteers, they are all gamers and all fall under 1 or more of the lgbtqia+ flags

If you still need testers I would be more than welcome to be a tester! This is cute and definitely sums me up! I use U.S. terms so I could make sure all the terms are switched over correctly as I go

Thank you, are you happy with the deadline of 23 May and do you have access to the right type of yarn (I just edited the post to specify it)?

Thank you, that would be really helpful.

The deadline should be fine. I’m not for sure what type of yarn I have since my aunt just gave me a ton of her yarn when she used to crochet. I think it is the same and correct yarn but if I come along any problems, I’ll let you know

Thanks for letting me know. I’ll add you to the testing in the morning (it’s almost 11pm here in England)

I’d love to test for you. Any smaller size would work, depending on what you need.

Thank you very much, either of the first couple of sizes would work. Some people like to pick the size that would fit them. I shall add you in just a moment.
