Hi everyone! I’m looking for testers for my first pattern, the Starlily Top. It is a knitting and crochet pattern. Specifically, I am still looking for testers with bust measurements of 42-54 inches.
This close-fitting top is worked bottom-up and in the round. The body portion has knit ribbing, while the bust is made of knit stockinette stitches and features a lily-of-the-valley colorwork motif along with a border of small stars. The edges are finished with a crochet scallop stitch on the bottom edge and a simple crochet stitch for the top edge and straps. The pattern includes both a regular and cropped length option.

22 stitches x 36 rows = 4in x 4in / 10cm x 10cm
*Stockinette:

Please leave a comment if you are interested in testing.
I am bust size 45" I am intermediate-advanced crocheter. I can knit but not advanced enough to test the knit version but could attempt to make it once finished with the crochet
Ok, i do know the basics, and I have the needles required. I’ve made a hat, glove, and scarf (the hat and scarf are made with color changes) and they turned out perfect.
I’m a 50-52 bust and would like to give this a try. I have never done knitting color work before so I don’t know if that would be problem. I’m a beginner knitter who has made hats and one sweater( constructed in flat pieces). I also crochet and have all of the knitting and crocheting supplies required.
Hi! thanks for reaching out. I think your knitting experience would be sufficient to test the pattern if you are willing to try colorwork for the first time. It is not too complicated once you get the hang of it. This pattern is worked in the round, which may also be new to you, but is also easy to pick up. If that sounds doable, you can fill out the application form here: https://forms.gle/mSkbgDEPJMYjBS996
