Hi! I’m looking for size 5-9 (XL-5XL) testers for my 7pm tank! It’s knit with fingering weight yarn bottom up, both flat and in the round using 3.5 mm (US 4) needles for the majority of the pattern. I am aiming to have test knits completed by July 16, 2021 - I’m flexible if more time is needed!

LOVE this! I would love to test knit but have another test project on the needles right now and a KAL coming up. Please keep me in the loop to purchase the pattern though.

Curious, what is involved in test knitting? I’m sure it’s not just knitting the pattern is it?

Test knitting helps to ensure that a pattern creates its intended product for all the sizes it is written for! Usually this means test knitters inform the designer of any errors, and things like size/fit issues, the amount of yarn used, instruction clarity, etc.
