The fuzzy blob surprise attack

How do I escape this? Should I go on and hope it hides itself? Cut and hide it inside myself? Frog and never crochet again (yeah right, like that would happen…), cry? Or stop whining and be grateful I have this pretty white cotton yarn, even if it’s not store bought, awesome pattern, great designer who trusted me to test for them, then hide the blob with my weaponized hook, because I can, and work ahead because crochet is a great therapy for lives’ much bigger fuzzy blobs? Ohhh yes. The last one. That is the one. So that’s what I’ll do. :muscle::yarn::purple_heart:

When this happens to me I make sure that part winds up on the inside of the work. If I have to I’ll fasten off and rejoin but I hate doing that lol.

The worst. I usually cut it and rejoin the yarn if it doesn’t end up on the inside.

If it’s a loose blob that got caught in the ply, I snip it down thin to hide it if it’s an actual flaw in the ply, I always cut and start a new end. Because those types of things will always find their way back to the public side

Good point.

I know this is not about the fuzzy blob but what kind of crochet hook is that? It looks so nice and really comfortable.

My husband gave in and got this and another set with higher # when I started struggling (right after starting) because of arthritis pain. I already struggle with my music.

The other set is this:

I saw a couple of comments saying they are cheap and not well done. I sized them and have been using them daily, a lot, really a lot, both sets, and I have not had a single problem with them. There are a ton of good reviews too.
