Winners Announced: Congratulations to @drickmerpivo! :confetti_ball: Thank you for everyone’s input here, love seeing all your new skills that are clicking!

My favorite part about crafting is that you are never done learning new skills :frog:

And we all learn them at different times and at different paces! No shame in not knowing something.

Let me know which skill has recently clicked for you! :yarn:

I just learned how to cast on with my eyes closed!

A random commenter will win a gem for participating :gem_stone:

I struggled for so long with starting a magic circle. I am so excited now to say that about 96% of the time I nail it! it makes me so happy because I can make stuff I really want to make and not have to search for patterns that have a chain start.

It makes me smile every time I nail one! Makes me feel like a real crocheter!! :blue_heart:

I was crocheting so wrong! I was only slip knotting in the back loop only! It wasn’t until I sat down with someone that it made sense!

a skill that recently clicked for me was embroidering details onto amigurumi. I’ve just been trying to imitate others embroidered mouths with random lines, but I finally watched a tutorial on how to do it, and it clicked!

that’s kinda embarrassing considering how long I’ve been crocheting :face_with_peeking_eye:

Same! Or sewing on limbs and heads! That’s a whole art in and of itself!

bobble stitches! it took me forever to understand they are just a bunch of uncompleted double crochets in the same hole that you then connect with one loop. (this is a really bad explanation please search up a tutorial if you are confused)
