So I thought I would share a sewing tip to help any newbie out. I sew a lot of plush creatures and sometimes the limbs are super tiny. Trying to turn them inside out is enough to make you give up! Until I figured out this tip! Let me know what you think or if you need a video, I might be able to get one up
What you need:
a straw ( mine came from a Jacks drink)
A chopstick (or anything similar. You need a small tip, but sometimes a bigger one will do)
Pic 1. 2. Items and examples of arms/legs
Pic 3 put the straw inside the leg
Pic 4 : once you are at the end you can see the circular opening of the straw part. I circled it so you can kinda see. This is where you want to put the tip of the chopsticks.
Pic 5: at this point you are going to grab your fabric part and try and push it upwards onto the chopsticks. It kind of takes some finagling, depending on what kind of fabric you have. Your essentially turning it inside out now, with the help of the straw/chopstick combo
Pic 6: walah, you have hopefully turned your piece inside out
