Try using a diffuser with your hair dryer to get the back of your head dry, braid, twist locks, or wrap it up at night and wear a silk cap to help keep it from knotting/ frizzing at night. My kids all have different types of 3- 4c hair, all different texture- biracial. Some things i use for them is always use leave in conditioner- not your mothers or try these. (Pic below). Family friend who does biracial hair recommended these, working great so far.

I have curly hair (apparently I am a fluffy sheep according to my fiends)

I use a hair gel called “Be curly” it keeps my hair from getting frizzy through the day. And then I also use tri-swim shampoo and conditioner. It is for people who are in water 24/7 I don’t know if it is beneficial for curly hair

I’d love to join the GC if I could, my hair isn’t as hard to deal with right now since it’s short (my service dog in training was using my waist length hair to alert) but I have very little ideas on how to make my short hair that is wavy-curly (mostly waves with a few spiral curls) to look good short, I almost always have long hair so that’s where my experience lies, I also don’t use heat tools

I’d love to join the gc if possible (if it’s already full then that’s totally ok). I have curly hair and have been trying to work on creating a good hair routine.
