Tips for sweater care

Hey guys,

I have a question regarding sweater care!

I have a sweater that I knit almost two years ago that’s cream colored/natural (alpaca yarn) and I have a few stains on it just from wear, (it’s looking a little dingy on the sleeves too). I was wondering if there’s a way to get the stains out and how do I keep it looking fresh? I’ve washed it in Eucalan before but didn’t notice a difference
Any tips or tricks are welcome!

Thanks!!

‘Gently wash in warm water with a mild soap/shampoo’ says Google when I looked it up

other than just soaking, because it’s alpaca, I’d be afraid of felting. maybe try soaking in the cleaning soak you use and oxiclean stuff you add to your reg wash?

Hahaha, thank you  I’ll try soaking it again with the soap I have, it’s been a while since I washed it so maybe that’ll help!

I was going to suggest oxiclean. I love that stuff.
