I’m making a pattern that requires me to switch yarn colors every two stitches, which is very tedious. I’ve been using the technique of inserting my hook into the last two loops of a stitch and pulling through the two with the new color. It works, but it’s inconvenient. Does anyone have any tips on how to do this more efficiently?
Please and thank you!

You can carry the yarn through instead of cutting it each time

This is what i assumed OP was doing, it would indeed be tedious otherwise
