Today I looked at my wips 😭

Ok, so I, um, as a beginner, I sorta had a commitment problem. I have, 2 bins, full of yarns I have been looking for, for like a year! And the projects. I have some questions about some things tho.

What do I do? I don’t want any crochet jackets.

This unfinished jacket

So, I started a jacket, and being a beginner, I had not known that I shouldn’t use thrifted yarn, because I ran out of it before finishing, and I can’t find any more. What should I do? 20+ hours.

It’s 2 hexagonal granny squares, if that helps. I don’t really wanna finish it.

Any tips?

Frogging for hours?

So like, I have so many projects that I’m planning on frogging. I don’t even know what half of them r.

Not to mention the tangling :sob:

This needed its own category…

this… thing?

So, I started this logo thing? It was for this event in my town I was excited for? Idk how to deal with this. Lost cause. Great colours too :face_exhaling:.

The mini chicken :sob:

parts and pieces

Found these? The brown ones a mini chicken, I may finish it?

Another coat? And, smthn?

more frogging

I don’t want a jacket. I have established. And this thing? Idk what is is, it’s too small to be a bag, so idk.

And we don’t talk about the yarn scraps at the bottom.
I think I need a better way to manage wips, the ones I’m actually working on r shoved between my chair and automand, or whatever the big foot stool is. I plan to use these bins, but I will need to deal with these first. Also, if uve seen my untangling yarn day, I still haven’t finished, I did like half. Wish me more luck :saluting_face::saluting_face:

I honestly have so many wips too :sob: I also have to make like 15 more projects so that’s fun. Umm for the jacket you should make the side into one side (if you can or want to) and do the same technique (again if you want) to make the other side. It would be super cool plus, you can finish it. That’s just my idea tho so yeah.
Edit : I just saw the second side of the jacket so correct my previous statement. I will say use a color (that you have a lot of that still matches the jacket) and make like a border (sorry @craftychicken for stealing your idea…)

for your unfinished jacket, if you have a shade of green yarn, you could do a border around the whole thing and call it done

The jacket is cool. You could find a color that goes well with the jacket and finish it with that. You could also give it to someone.
Also good job on making a sweater. I’ve started a few sweaters and have never finished them.

Maybe give it to a relative?

I had a lot of wips at one time. I knew I would never finish them especially the ones that I didn’t have enough yarn for.
I frogged it all. I had a frogging party. Everyone helped frog then there was food for all. It was fun.
