Note: We will contact you directly and gift your gems, please allow our team a few days!

Real makers. Real designers. Real creativity. Zero slop.

This month, Ribbot wants to see your makes out in the wild! :seedling::purple_heart:
The Touch Grass Challenge is all about celebrating the humans behind handmade creations: The makers, designers, and artists who bring every stitch to life. Take your latest project outside, snap a photo somewhere beyond your craft corner, and show us your stitches in the real world. Park, cafĆ©, garden, balcony, beach, Pride parade… anywhere counts! :rainbow:

Let’s celebrate original creativity, handmade art, and the real people behind every project :sparkles:

Here’s how to join in:

  1. Finish a project during this month’s challenge period
  2. Take a photo of your make outside or in a real-life setting
  3. Post a journal on the Challenge Pattern linked here! Share a little note about your project, where you took the photo, what inspired your make, and tag the designer if applicable :purple_heart:

:sparkles: Bonus Round: :sparkles:

Share your challenge entry on social media, tag @ribblr_it, and also the pattern designer (unless it’s your own design or freehanded), and you’ll receive 50 gems!*

Entries close July 5th.

On July 6th, Ribbot will pick 6 favorite entries, and each winner will receive 50 gems :gem_stone:

Every handmade project has a story, and no two makers create quite the same way. This challenge is all about celebrating authentic creativity, original designs, and the people who make this community special…
We can’t wait to see your stitches touch grass :seedling:

Good luck,

Team Ribblr :purple_heart:

*Please allow up to 30 days for gems to be added to your account.

Ooh!! I’m joining!! One question though, does it have to be something you’ve finished in the time period?

I have a great idea :see_no_evil_monkey:

@Ribblr Whats the challenge time period? Can it be something I finished yesterday, or does it have to be something I finished between June 8th and July 5th?

Great idea! Here is a picture of my newest make that’s on my shop! My sister inspired me to make it bc she loves frogs, and I designed and posted this pattern myself!

I’ve just finished designing this no sew elephant, it gets published on the 10th of June, I can’t wait! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: :tada:

I wanted to make it for my mother who is from Namibia (Africa) for her birthday :birthday_cake:

My journal is already completed and published!:tada::slightly_smiling_face::tada::slightly_smiling_face:

I took it in my back garden and plan to sell these elephants at my crochet markets!

I’ll keep this in mind! I’ve been wanting to crochet a plant, even though this challenge only is about getting outside lol.

Here’s mine!

I decided to crochet some cherries because it’s cherry season in France (I’m French) !
I added the little cherry blossom to make it look cute, but mostly because I just love them so much!!!
I chose to take the photo on my Japanese bonsai because it added an Asian touch—perfect for cherry blossoms!!!
