Tunisian Crochet Pattern Testing Inquiry

Greetings,

I am curious if there are Tunisian crochet pattern testing calls? Where may I find designer’s testing calls?

Thank you in advance!

Assuming I read that right, you want to know if there is a place where Tunisian designers post testing calls for their patterns? If yes there is in Testing zone it just depends if Tunisian designers post it

since you said this was a cross platform post I changed the topic to general, and I would edit it to type Tunisian testing calls in the post instead as it was a little confusing if it’s just in the topic, if that makes sense

Yes thank you  , there is. I thought I would ask in the section where Tunisian Crochet is the main topic.

Lol true. Currently, I am in tester status. I am gaining the courage to design someday and which skillset to use
Yes, I have posted on Ravelry, Reddit, here, and discord (soon).
Thank you, I will update the post

I’ll probably be in tester status forever  I hope you find the courage some day, although that’s easier said than done  what I like to do is design patterns that I don’t intend to publish to get the feel and understand how to write it better, I only mention it as it definitely helped my confidence in desiging although not so much on the posting it part

Oh, thank you! And the same for you to publish one day too! :tada:
Hmm, great advice! I will definitely try your method out first to gain a sense of designing

A good place to look for tunisian tester calls is Instagram! Thats typically my go to when looking to test something, but this community keeps growing, so maybe something on here will pop up soon!

Thank you for this. However, I am searching for Tunisian Crochet patterns to test. There are a plethora of crochet and knitting patterns, just was curious solely about Tunisian Crochet at this time.
I have older version from like the 60s & 70s, but something’s have updated and people think differently about their artistic expressions.

Oh thank you! :hugs: I will take a look there!
Would you recommend following the hashtags and/or designated Tunisian Crochet designers?

Yes that is what I am hoping

Tunisian :yarn: #tunisiancrochet #patterntesterswanted #patterntestersneeded

I cant think of any specific designer in general to follow, a lot of them i cant even remember their username :sweat_smile:

But those hashtags should help guide you in the right direction!

Hopefully they will see the thread title and introduce themselves

Lol same. I follow some on YouTube…but I do not think I have seen a tester call per se :person_shrugging:

I like Tunisian crochet, and now that I’ve found a place where it’s easy to post patterns, I’ll be designing a lot more patterns. I currently only have one crochet pattern and it’s in testing mode, but I’m happy to know that there are people looking to test Tunisian stuff
