Unique stitches help

I am making a tank/babydoll top style vrochet top and I’ve gotten to the point where I want it to be sorta flowy and I want it to be some sort of special stitch but im not really finding what i want. Any stitch recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Have you seen the special double crochet patterns on granny squares? You might want to look at that

I would suggest like a diamond mesh stitch? It looks rlly pretty on babydoll style tops!

Do you mean granny clusters? Those are a bit too mundane for what i want.

Oh?

Okay.

I have an idea.

Try heavy stitches. They take away the stiffness of the yarn, by making it too heavy for the yarn to hold upwards.

Do you mean like a peacock or shell stitch? Like the denser ones?

Yep
