What about a bamboo yarn like Cooboo (cotton/bamboo blend) or Truboo (100% bamboo)?
I havenāt used either, but I have seen them suggested as good alternatives.

Yeah I like the suggestion @Karametra made! Iāve always just used 100% cotton for the tops but I think a bamboo blend would work well!
