Unraveling Granny square

I made a crochet granny square bag for a friend, but she was using it today and the granny square has a hole in the middle!!! It’s a solid square, and I tied off the end really well. Does anyone know how to fix it?
Idk if the image will work, but I attached one so you guys can see what I mean :)

looks like it’s a loose magic ring~ maybe you can try to find the end of the magic ring and tighten it?

Maybe you can try to close it with sewing :sewing_needle::laughing:

hmm i agree with what peachy said
you may also be able to make a slipknot attach it onto the part and decrease around

This is why I decided recently to stop using magic rings, had this happen one too many times!
