Sooo as some of u know, I made a tiny outfit 2 days ago for a doll I’m making ans here’s an update on my progress! Her name is Annabeth Chase from the Percy Jackson book series. I just finished her head but I won’t start the body until after lunch. (It’s lunch time where I am)
For reference, that’s a full size sheet of A4 paper she’s on
P.S. she is just a head but I’ve already sewn the outfit

Ooooh cute! You are SOOOOO talented, I cannot sew beyond a basic stitch sewing crochet pieces together. (Even with a machine!) Are you making the version from the show? Bc I thought in the books Annabeth has blonde hair and gray eyes

Isn’t Annabeth white
Just to specify I’m not trying to be rude

I think it’s the version from the show- here’s what the actor looks like:

Yeah. I’m making that version. Also, in the book it never actually says any of their races, and blond hair doesn’t necessarily mean white

The official art made for the book depicts annabeth as white and I’m pretty sure somewhere she is described as white in the books.
Really sorry if this is rude
This is from the website that rick made about his books

Out of curiosity, where do you get your fabric? :0 I’ve been meaning to sew more but I haven’t been able to find nice fabrics I like

I get my fabrics from a small business called minky n more but they’re in Australia, around 20 min from my place so I can’t exactly give a good opinion on how fast the post comes. The pattern maker gets her minky from Joann Fabrics and Fabric.com. If u want the fabric for sewing, it’s minky, not cuddle fleece, and I use 5mm pile minky

Icic! Did you also use a pattern for the head? :0

Yes. I use a pattern for everything because sewing is a lot harder than it looks to design patterns
