Update on my large teddy bear

Hi everyone, sorry for the radio silence! I’m thrilled to share that I’ve finished the giant bear. :bear:
It was a real adventure! I had to tweak the AmigurumiToday pattern quite a bit to get the proportions right, and I even improvised a new muzzle and eye style (Gretawings for the eyes). It’s definitely a unique piece! Just to give you an idea of the size difference: my first bear, made with a 4.5mm hook and 4-weight yarn, was about 11 inches/28cm. The second one, with a 10mm hook and super bulky 7-weight yarn, ended up being a whopping 20 inches/just under 51cm. It’s huge!.

I have listed where I got the pattern for the eyes as I don’t want to take credit and say it’s my design.

Edit: I’m a little blind- I didn’t see that she linked the tutorial for the eyes :sob:

No worries, I really love all her patterns. Her first language isn’t English, but she does a very well job at explaining. I added the English version as I understand the Spanish version.
