Hello fellow ribblrs! Iāve been thinking about making this post for a while as this honestly just kinda annoys me 
as a teen finding myself and finding a name that fits my identity I uh often kinda change that a lot 
and usually my username, however the limit prevents me from doing so and just gets on my nerves, other times I just like changing it up but now I cant do so 
in my honest opinion I feel like there is no point to a username change limit? it would be really cool if yāall could change that :3 @Ribblr

EEEEEKKK THATS THE NAME YOU WENT WITH :DDDD!! Also yes I agreeeee!! I went to change my username and name in help center today but i cant change my name because of the limit. Im trying to make my profile more shop related.

Personally, I understand the fact that there is a limit (as itās ribblrās job to monitor our profiles and such), but I donāt see why the limit needs to lastā¦.forever. If someone changes their username a lot, then there could be a cooldown opposed to justā¦.reaching the overall limit

if it helps, you dont have to name yourself directly in your username. you could always pick an aspect of you that never changes and use that. for example, Iām Sleepy!!

I agree, Iāve wanted to change my username for a while, but obviously canāt . I think it should have a cool down like instagram or discord where it says āoriginally known as [their old/previous username]ā yk?
I know some others agree as well (cough @BerriesAndCr34m).

I mean it kinda makes sense, they donāt want everybody changing their user every day, (thatād get confusing for everyone) Iād personally have a hard time keeping track of who people were

I feel like its ok. I dont think it should be you can never change it again maybe only twice every 6 months cos i feel like other wise it will get really confusing as to whos who

And it could be like discord where it says āoriginally know asā on our profiles. That would help with the confusion?

Yes, I totally agree. I remember trying to change my username one more time and it wouldnāt let me because Iāve done it one too many timesā. Now im stuck with this one which is 
funā - I hte this username so much now

I donāt know for sure but I think the limit on how many times you can change your username are in place due to trying to protect this site from spammers.
If you really donāt like your username you can always DM Ribblr, and ask them if they will allow you to change it again. Be prepared to give them a good reason as to why you want to change it though

Yeah. I gave them a good reason on why my first name needed to be changed and they changed it without a fuss!!

Iāve not done it myself yet. Another craft site Iām on allows 3 name changes. I d guess Ribblrās. Policy is similar

Personallh think if they do this there should be a part of the profile where we can see previous usernames so I know who the heck everyone is after they change their users

Wait, what if ribblr can just set a specific limit for when you change your username? Like once you change it and you wanna change it again, youāll have to wait 3-6 more months to be able to change it again. Idk, I tried to make it make sense >^<
