Wearables

Okayyy so I made something a little different :eyes::yarn:

This is my Sleepy Meadow Newborn Cardigan. I made it for a custom order and ended up writing the pattern as I went. I’m still working on the matching blanket too, which will have my little Sleepy Sheep on it. :ewe:

And now I’m curious…

I know plushies are absolutely everywhere right now and I love making them too, but does anyone else feel like switching it up sometimes?

Like… baby makes, wearables, blankets, bags, home decor, all the non-plushie stuff that kind of got pushed to the side for a minute :joy:

Also, would anyone actually be into testing something like this if I decided to put the pattern out there?

I would love testing it. I like making wearables oncevin awhile. Just to switch it up.

Yayyy, I was hoping some of my regular testers would be up for it! :joy: I feel the same way, sometimes it’s just fun to switch gears and make something totally different. I’d definitely love to have you test this one when it’s ready! :two_hearts::yarn:

I’ve been wanting to crochet wearables and blankets for so long now, I just don’t have the physical capacity to crochet as much anymore, and a bigger project would require so so much more patience.
I think one of my next projects will be something big like a sweater or something, because I think patience and delayed gratification is something I should make effort to train in myself

That being said, I don’t think I could test a wearable because the time constraints would make it easier to ignore my body’s limitations

Aww congrats!! i have 2 granddaughters although they are teenagers now but it’s so much fun to crochet for them!
