Weird Email

Fairly new here and unsure what this is about…I reveived an email from Ribblr notifications that I have 7 days to complete a test for a ā€˜Bubble Blanket’ Thing is I never "applied " to test anything. Ive only ever applied and tested one thing, about 4 mths ago, so what is this about.
It doesnt state who the pattern belongs too and Im not clicking on the link that was attached. Has anyone come across this before??? :woman_shrugging:

Screenshot of email attached.

Unfortunately if you are actually one of the testers, even if you didn’t apply, the only way to not do that is to abort the testing. You could contact ribblr, though, and tell them what happened.

Have you looked in your testing library to see if there is a pattern there? If there isn’t a pattern in your testing library (go to my stuff, click your user name at the top, go to testing), I’m gonna say it’s spam.

This may possibly be the test post. It’s possible you clicked on it accidentally to apply but I’m not seeing you in the comments

I havent clicked on anything or applied for anything, so just find this strange.

Very frustrating if spam :woman_facepalming:

Then that’s a bug, maybe contact the person who has the pattern out for testing and ask them if you are seen as a tester, if not you can just ignore it.

Hi, this is an email from us. However it’s strange if you don’t have it in your library. We’ve escalated it.

We have responded to your email with detailed information. For the benefit of everyone following this topic, the core issue was that the designer published the pattern prior to the test due date.
